Capability areas

Most of what we are asked to solve falls into six areas.

Distributed systems
Domain-driven design and bounded contexts, CQRS, event sourcing, sagas and the outbox pattern, chosen by the consistency the system actually needs.
Backend platforms
.NET and C#, Go and Python services: API design, performance, testing strategy and a structure that keeps the codebase changeable.
Cloud and platform
AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and delivery pipelines that give teams one shared platform to build on.
Data and messaging
PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis, Kafka and event streaming, and data migrations carried out while the system keeps running.
AI and LLM integration
Retrieval-augmented generation, agent workflows with LangChain and LangGraph, the MCP and A2A protocols, evaluation pipelines and cost control.
Reliability and operations
Observability with metrics, logs and traces, incident analysis, performance and capacity work, and visibility into cloud cost.

What we take on, and what we do not

What we take on

  • Architecture of backend and platform systems
  • Modernisation of systems that are already running
  • Data architecture and migrations
  • Cloud platforms and delivery pipelines
  • AI and LLM features in production systems

What we do not take on

  • Visual design and branding
  • Formal penetration testing and security certification
  • Hardware and embedded firmware
  • Staff augmentation without architectural responsibility

Where these capabilities are applied

Technologies

The technology areas these services run on.

  • .NET / C# Platform Development
  • Go Service Development
  • Python and Data Engineering
  • Kubernetes Platform Engineering
  • Data Layer: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
  • Kafka and Event Streaming
  • AWS, Azure and GCP Cloud Architecture

Questions about our capabilities

Why are there no names or certificates on this page?

Because we do not publish team details. The certifications and CVs of the architects assigned to your project are shared once an NDA is signed.

Can you work in our stack if it is not listed here?

If it is a mainstream backend or cloud stack, usually yes. If it is outside what we know well, we say so in the first call rather than learn it on your project.

Do you write production code, or only design?

Both. Design engagements end with reference code, and delivery programmes ship production code together with your team.

Which cloud providers do you work with?

AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. We work in your accounts; nothing runs in accounts we own.

Tell us about your stack

Thirty minutes. You describe the system, and we tell you plainly whether it is something we know well.
